Refund Policy

1. Before we file your request

Cancel any time before we file your request with the issuing office and we refund 100% of what you paid — the certificate fee, our service fee, any expedited fee and the transaction fee.

2. After filing

Once your request is filed, the office's fees have been paid on your behalf and are not refundable.

• If the office rejects the application, we refund 100% of our service fee.
• If you cancel after filing, we refund 50% of our service fee.
• The expedited fee is refunded if the certificate has not shipped.
• The transaction fee is not refundable after filing.

3. After the certificate ships

There is no refund once the office has shipped the certificate.

4. How long a refund takes

Approved refunds go back to the original card within 5 business days. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.

5. How to request one

Open your order with your tracking number and PIN and choose Cancel this order, or email support@birthchek.com with your tracking number. The rules that apply are the ones in force on the day you ordered.
